Facial Cleft Corrective Surgery

Cleft lip and cleft palate is the most common malformation of the Head and Neck.  It occurs very early in pregnancy, while the baby is developing inside the mother. Clefting may result from genetic and/or environmental causes. Many third world countries experience this condition secondary to a lack of prenatal medical care.

Cataract Surgery

A cataract is a clouding of the normally clear lens of the eye. For people who have cataracts, seeing through cloudy lenses may range from foggy vision to complete blindness. This can be a debilitating condition that is often left untreated in developing countries.
